How can I start a new wire rope run using one angled fence bracket?Updated an hour ago
If your wire rope run is 10 meters or longer, or has a turn, a new wire run with a turnbuckle should be started to maintain adequate tension.
The attached image is a bird 's-eye view of a fence line extension post. With the wire run that is ending, the wire would wrap around the post and through the eyelet and then you’d crimp/wire rope grip that wire after cutting it with wire cutters. The new wire run would then start by hooking the turnbuckle into the guide wire eyelet.
