How do you sew in a zipper?Updated an hour ago

You would put the binding twine through the needles eye and do a horizontal loop through the zipper fabric, over the netting strand and back into the zipper fabric. You could do 1 loop per mesh, however 2 loops would be better. The zipper fabric can be quite firm so you may find it easier using needle nose pliers to help pull the needle through the fabric.

Alternatively, you can heat up the end of the needle with a lighter and melt a series of holes through the zip fabric every 10mm or so. This would enable you to clip the zipper in with C-shaped clips.
