Using catios outdoors and in windy conditions.
Can the catio handle wind?
Catios use a robust steel frame. Monitor on windy days, especially with a shade sail, and do not attach a tarp or flat cover to the roof.
Is the netting waterproof? Will it keep the rain out?
No. The netting is an open mesh for containment, not weather protection, so it is not waterproof. A separate waterproof cover is available that fits over the top of the enclosure.
